Ningbo – Duisburg – ‘s Heerenberg 2022, March 7th, Against the background of the shocking events and the human tragedy currently taking place in Ukraine, we are trying to keep the Supply Chain between Asia and Europe intact so that our customers in Europe and the rest of the world get their necessary supplies delivered. With this in mind, our team in ‘s Heerenberg, together with TIEDADA-GRUPPE (Frank Shao) und duisport - Duisburger Hafen AG (Peter van Ling), set up a southern bypass for our rail connection from China to Europe. The southern route goes from China via Kazakhstan, over the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan and then through Georgia to Izmit in Turkey and from there via Istanbul by shortsea to Trieste and than Duisburg.
