2022, June 14th, The Hague, This morning the Dutch team from the Department for International Trade (DIT) organized a meeting at the residence of the British ambassador. This event was meant for leading Dutch companies in the logistics sector to explain how DIT can support these companies and to explain the status of the sector in the UK. Rob Vereggen and myself participated on behalf of Nunner Logística.
After Brexit, many logistics service providers have scaled down or even ceased their activities with the United Kingdom. Nunner Logística has, however, scaled up its services to and from the UK and has acquired many new clients. We depart multiple times per day with our LTL & FTL linehaul trucks (anti-slash tilt or boxtrailers) from and to the UK. Next to that we fulfil all customs formalities.
That’s why it was interesting to learn about the state of the sector in the United Kingdom, to learn about developments in the local real estate market and to record other things worth knowing.
