‘s Heerenberg, 2024 December 6th, Nunner Logistics was already active in multimodal transport between Western Europe and Türkiye in the early nineties of the last century. After that we were one of the first rail pioneers to be active on the New Silkroad (China – Europe v.v.) in 2015. In 2018, NUNNER launched the first train depart from Amsterdam to Yiwu and in 2021 it was NUNNER that organised the first train depart from Vienna to Shanghai. Since then, our services on this axis have continued to grow (sometimes stimulated or slowed down by geopolitical factors and a pandemic). Today we are one of the leading LCL and FCL service providers on this route in both directions.
The silkroad connection by rail between China and Europe is flourishing. Currently, the transit time by RAIL for the NORTHERN corridor is 16 to 18 days and the MIDDLE corridor (via Kazakhstan – Azerbaijan – Georgia etc.) 30 to 32 days.
