2022 June 8th-9th, Brussels, Over the past two days, the first edition of the “Austria Connect” conference took place in Brussels with more than 70 participants from Austrian companies with a branch in the Benelux took place. It was organized by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Benelux l Oostenrijkse Ambassade Handelsafdeling, Michael Spalek and sponsored by Nunner Logistics a.o. Together with Патрик Зонегг и Andy Charlier I represented Nunner.

After a reception on Wednesday evening at the residence of H.E. Elisabeth Kornfeind the Austrian ambassador to Belgium, the kick off was on Thursday morning in Chateau Sainte Anne. The theme of the congress was the recovery of the Austrian economy after the COVID pandemic. All current themes were adressed, including – of course – the impact of the terrible war in Ukrain and the energy transition.

Nunner’s contribution made it clear how we contribute to a CO2 neutral economy. In addition to the interesting presentations, there was plenty of time to network with representatives of Austrian companies and the Austrian state in the Benelux. A successful event!
